According to Bungie, the chances for acquiring Exotic class items from chests found in the Overthrow activity have been adjusted. Higher-tiered chests were supposed to increase drop chances, but feedback from the Destiny 2 community has revealed that the drop rates have instead decreased significantly.Once players have completed the Dual Destiny Exotic mission for the first time, Exotic class items typically drop after around three Overthrow runs.
